Matthew 15:8-9NLT

but their hearts are far from me.

  1. What do these verses tell us about how we can defeat the evil one?
  2. What happens when we go into battle with a heart of worship based on these verses?
  3. What is one way that you can focus on worshiping God this week?

Moving forward

One way to set our minds and hearts on God is to listen to worship music. We have a Spotify playlist filled with our favorite worship songs. As a group, make a plan to listen to that playlist every day throughout the week. Notice how focusing on these songs and worshiping God impacts your group. Talk about this next time during group.
