1. Before you can find the right person, you have to become the right person.
Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness (that means doing life God’s way) and all these things will be added unto you as well.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind.
“If you want something different from what everybody else has, then you’re going to have to do something different than what everybody else does.”
- Read your Bible and apply it to your life. Go an extra step and memorize some verses of scripture.
- Pray and seek God’s direction for your life and for your relationship.
- Get in a small group and open your life up to accountability.
- Find a ministry and serve God and advance his kingdom.
- Refuse to settle.

3. Stay pure.
Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your body.
