Discipline your children while they are young enough to learn. If you don’t, you’re helping them destroy themselves.
- Spell out expectations and rules for children.
- Never discipline children for just making childish mistakes.
- Never discipline out of anger.
- Always go from the mildest form of discipline.
- Don’t use harmful words.
- Always follow up discipline with love and affection.
- Be consistent.
- If you ever make a discipline mistake, own it.
