“You have done more evil than all who lived before… you have provoked me to anger and thrust me behind your back.”
20So Ahab sent word throughout all Israel and assembled the prophets on Mount Carmel. 21Elijah went before the people and said, “How long will you waver between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him.”
But the people said nothing.
So they took the bull given them and prepared it. Then they called on the name of Baal from morning till noon. "O Baal, answer us!" they shouted. But there was no response; no one answered. And they danced around the altar they had made. At noon Elijah began to taunt them. "Shout louder!" he said. "Surely he is a god! Perhaps he is deep in thought, or busy, or traveling. Maybe he is sleeping and must be awakened."
He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem… he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed…. He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth... He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death, though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth.

Micah 5:2Says that the Messiah would be born in Bethlehem.
Jeremiah 31:15Says that there will be babies who will be slaughtered.

Pslam 22:16Says that His hands and His feet will be pierced.
Isaiah 53:12Says that the Messiah would be crucified between two thieves.
Pslam 34:20 Says that none of His bones would be broken.
Zechariah 12:10 Says that the Messiah will be pierced.
Psalm 16:10 Says that the Messiah would rise again from the dead and that is exactly what Jesus did.
The odds of Jesus fulfilling just 8 of the Prophecies is 1 x 10 to the 28th (10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000)
