There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.
- We play games with God's will.
- We lean too much on our own understanding.
- We only pay attention to what we want to pay attention to.
Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it."
The Great Commission
19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
The Lord… is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
29Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
3But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people.
4. We never ask God for what he wants for our life in the first place.
If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.
You do not have, because you do not ask God.
My God I want to do what You want.
Jesus Prays on the Mount of Olives
42“Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.”
