“What prompts people armed with cell phones and time, sitting still in traffic with the ability to assist, to respond with such anger and contempt? What leads a heart away from compassion and empathy toward callous indifference-even murderous rage? It's simple. People are dangerous and cruel. Not can be; are.” - James Emery White
While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man came along who was covered with leprosy.
By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.
When he saw Jesus, he fell with his face to the ground and begged him, "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean."
13Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” And immediately the leprosy left him.
"For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God..."
32Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
”If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.
