- KidCare Workers must be able to work nights and special events. Sagebrush reserves the right to modify schedules based on KidCare Event needs and will provide KidCare workers with as much advance notice of any changes to their schedules as much as possible.

KidCare is a critical ministry at Sagebrush Church because it not only provides care for children while parents are attending classes and groups, but it also provides a structured environment for children where they can make friends, have fun, and grow in their faith. KidCare is a ministry under the umbrella of the Sagebrush Small Group Ministry.
Day to day
What you will do.
- Ensure the Kidcare environment is fun, inviting and prepared for an amazing childcare experience.
- Facilitate all Kidcare service elements with excellence, which includes KidCare curriculum, learning objectives, and activities.
- Engage with and keep children on an exciting path of learning about Jesus, seeking ways to get them excited about attending a weekend service.
- Be the point of contact for parents/guardians, ensuring their child is in a safe environment, and you’re observing the check-in and release using our check-in/out tag system.
- Ensure the clean-up and overall care and cleaning protocols for the room/environment are up to Sagebrush excellence standards. This includes toys, furniture, and supplies.
- Make the drop-off, pick-up, and KidCare time fun and engaging for children.
- Build caring relationships with children and other KidCare leaders.
- Connect regularly with the Groups Site Coordinator for feedback and support.
- Take on any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and be in alignment with our church values.
Required
What you need.
- A dynamic and growing relationship with Christ, and enjoy a way of life that is Jesus-focused.
- Some experience providing childcare in a children's ministry, school, or day-care setting.
- Ability to maintain a calm sense of urgency even during times of crisis and high levels of activity.
- Have a flexible schedule that allows for accommodating special church events.
- Thrive in an environment with multiple competing priorities.
