About this role.
The Campus Pastor oversees the successful operations of an individual Sagebrush campus. Though every campus has unique assets and challenges, all Sagebrush campuses come together under the direction of centralized leadership to pursue the mission: To Know Christ and to Make Christ Known. The Campus Pastor plays a vital role in providing guidance and ensuring teams work together to provide excellent services that align with Sagebrush’s vision. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated pastor who truly cares for the spiritual health of others.

What the experience includes.
Please note: while this position does not include teaching regularly, Campus Pastors who satisfy the necessary requirements are given opportunities to teach at their campus location up to 10 times per year.
Day to day
What you will do.
- Connect with the campus and community through services, outreach, and events.
- Encourage involvement and generate excitement about all aspects of Sagebrush: services, small groups, Kids and Student ministries, events, and more.
- Act as a resource for both attendees and volunteers. Provide guidance and support as people make spiritual decisions.
- Track metrics related to Campus operations and utilize a data-driven approach to plan and collaborate with centralized leadership.
- Facilitate services in alignment with our organizational vision.
- Work closely with staff and volunteers in each department to maintain our commitment to excellence throughout every aspect of campus operations.
- Communicate regularly with attendees to guide them in taking the next step in their faith.
- Speak from the stage during services as needed to introduce sermons, make announcements, etc.
Required
What you need.
- A dynamic and growing relationship with Christ and a genuine, heartfelt desire to serve others.
- Extensive knowledge of the Bible and biblical principles sufficient to answer difficult questions and guide new believers. Education in biblical studies, Seminary, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- At least 1-2 years of ministry experience, 3-5 years preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness to triage situations and balance competing priorities.
- Outstanding leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills to lead team members, volunteers, and attendees.
- Ability to collaborate with others, provide helpful feedback, and receive direction from centralized leadership.
- Excellent organization, administration, and planning skills.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and communicate effectively over the phone, via text, and in person.
- Strong public speaking skills.
Preferred
What helps.
- Valid pastoral ordination from a recognized ordination board or the ability to attain ordination within 6 months is strongly preferred.
